An ever-present forest
Soil from 7 gardens

A sun that shines at night
A seed that sprouts on sterile ground

My work represents an ongoing dialogue between myself and the medium, nurtured by the surrounding environment. I'm deeply fascinated by interdisciplinary
environments and the intersections between various fields of study, as well as diverse forms of art across history and cultures. Additionally, I am captivated by the
archival nature of traditional art mediums and storytelling and their role in preserving information. By their potential to convey concepts beyond our current
understanding of language through aesthetic means.
Inspired by the convergence of scientific research, philosophy, religion, and everyday experiences, I strive to discern the underlying patterns that shape our collective
meaning-making and understanding of place.
From a process akin to attentive listening—to materials, emotions, and ideas—an evolving craft emerges, forming a language that blurs boundaries between the
magical and the mundane, the artificial and the natural. This unveiling illustrates the symbiotic relationship between embodied sensation and reason.
I challenge deep-rooted ideas about reality by portraying time and creation as dynamic processes intertwined within the natural world. My aim is to expand our
understanding of the ideological and sensorial frameworks that delineate distinctions between subjects and objects, fostering a new awareness of the fluid boundaries
between ourselves, the environment, and others.
The intent behind my work is for it to be experienced rather than deconstructed, much like a bicycle intended for a journey rather than disassembly. It invites
absorption, akin to the song of a bird or the discovery of a new word—creating a sense of wandering into a forest, between past and future thresholds. Guided by the
melody and emotions that colors carry with them and the poetry created by intrinsic meaning in objects and symbols. Through this journey, one may become more
aware of the constraining barriers of our current notion of reality, recognizing the myriad unfolding experiences in which we're all entangled.
Moreover, I believe that with our focused attention and care towards the objects, people, and environments around us, we actively engage in a true process of meaning
creation. This practice dissolves the boundaries separating art from everyday experiences, potentially reshaping our perceptions of reality.
Ultimately, my hope for my work is to serve as an instrument of wonder, inviting curiosity and facilitating exploration and discovery. It is intended as a conduit for
imagining new ways of thinking, creating, and navigating the world in harmony with nature.
